  • Me:

This older generation pisses me off so much

  • Therapist:

    Why?

  • Me:

Because when I was growing up, we were forcefed the idea that if we didn't want to be 'flipping burgers at McDonalds,' then we'd better go to college.

  • Therapist:

    And?

  • Me:

And now we've all gone to college, have degrees, can't get a damn job, and the same people that told us to go to college call us entitled assholes because we refuse to flip burgers

  • Therapist:

    Touche

It’s not a Gin & Tonic, it’s a Gin & Sonic, one of our baker’s dozen of game-themed summer cocktail recipes. (OK, it’s just a G&T with a dash of blue curacão for color.)
And here you said games journalism couldn’t have real-world applications.

Gin & Sonic looks mad hot, but I gotta give the most props for the “Shadooloo Negroni,” which I’d actually want to try even though Campari is straight vile (Graz loves it but nobody knows why).

The Shadaloo Negroni is my personal favorite on the list! I drink it on the regular. Campari does take some getting used to, but that particular gin (Rangpur) and especially that vermouth (Carpano Antiqua) have a lot of character and interact with the Campari in a very tasty way.

Didn’t they serve these at the Sonic Boom event during E3 a few years ago? I remember drinking one while playing the Sonic Generations demo. They were delicious.

The Sonic Boom drink was actually vodka, sprite, blue curacao, and lemon. And it was awesome.
